- Yarn. It is best to use the same brand of yarn for the body and the shoes.

Shoes
Worked from the center of the sole (tutorial).

Crochet a row of slip stitches between rows 8 and 9 (see below). Make a bow and sew it on. Stuff the shoes lightly.
Attach your "body yarn" with a slip stitch and crochet the first row of the legs through the back loops only.

Crochet a row of single crochet stitches in tothe front loops of row 9 with the "shoe yarn".
